So you are interested in the series and want to join? No problem - but please read this before.

History

The iamINDY.de Series was founded in February 2010 with the idea of having nice races with fimiliar people who take the racing serious. Because in the official iRacing IndyCar Series there are often problem with low participation, bad track choices, short races and other things. So here we are: starting with a "small" season of eight tracks with a good mix of ovals and road courses racing 100% distances of the real IndyCars. And at least as hoster I wanted to have a series where you can race on normal day times in Europe. All other private hosted IndyCar series I have seen where on US evenings which made it impossible for regular worker to participate.

Whats is important for newcomers?

To my joy we already have a lot of drivers: we have really fast ones, not that fast ones, real race car drivers and good engeneers. Many come from Europe and many more come from America. But all driver have two things common:

   1. Car control.

   This means that they don't spin out every turn, know how to behave in traffic, on road courses and on ovals.

   2. A friendly mind.

   Nobody tries to cheat and to gain unfair advantages. All drivers communicate in a friendly and polite way.
   And not at least they are helping each other.

This two points create a very nice atmosphere where it is fun for all drivers to participate. And that is the important thing: we are here to have fun.

One more again: it is NOT neccessary to be as fast as hell and beat everybody on the track. But be sure that you can control that car because we do really looong races.

How do I join to the series?

Create an account (see on the left side) and introduce yourself in the internal forum. Then be there for the next practice or when there is a ranked race before, get prepared well and participate in that race (without crashing at best). Of course you should read the rules (see also left side) before!
